In de 18e eeuw waren Schotse whisky's niet altijd consistent. Een whisky waar je gisteren van genoot, kon de volgende dag heel anders smaken. Voor John Walker was dit niet goed genoeg. Hij wilde dat zijn klanten steeds weer opnieuw konden genieten van dezelfde kwaliteit en smaak. Hij begon ze te blenden tot hij een whisky gemaakt had waar hij met plezier zijn naam aan verbond. King George V vormt een bijzondere aanvulling op het wereldberoemde Johnnie Walker-assortiment. Zo zou Johnnie Walker in het verleden gesmaakt kunnen hebben. Het bevat alleen zeldzame whisky's uit distilleerderijen die open waren tijdens de regeerperiode van George V. Sommige van die distilleerderijen zijn inmiddels gesloten, zoals Port Ellen. Groots maar elegant, met exquise smaken van geroosterde noten, rijke vruchten en kruiden met een vleugje rokerigheid. Deze moet puur worden gedronken. De decanteerfles en presentatiedoos zijn geïnspireerd op het leven en de regeerperiode van koning George V. Alcoholpercentage: 43%. Inhoud: 70cl.
